I'm here on DA browsing "Cellshade Tutorials" and you "pro" out there make it look so easy. But I just can't get it when I'm actually working on my pieces. I would love to consult my much more artistic brother, but he's no where to get in contact!!!
Anyways, I'm just gonna have to study these tutorials some more and practice practice practice. "Practice makes better!" That's what my Calculus II professor says. Shit! I failed that class!!!
I'm using InkScape. I would love to use PhotoShop, since I was more familiar with it. Or even FreeHAND (I know OLDSCHOOL!!!) But my old computer crashed and I can't afford to get these new software. So free programs such as InkScape, GIMP, and Paint.NET will do, but unfortunately I'm not getting the hang of them at all. Some of the stuff are actually just not quite as good as in PS. Like gradient for instance, it sucks on InkScape!

See, I get these motivations to do something. I'm all hyped up ready to do it, and then.... nevermind, don't feel like doing it anymore. This past week, I was urging myself to just doodle something and post it. It doesn't matter if its a piece of crap, you went for it thats what matters at this moment. Nope didn't happen.
So, what I decided to do is to post old drawings. How ever amateur they are, just get it up there on the world wide web. I can do it, I can do it, I can do it..... I can.....
We'll see what happens next....

I Call These Faces of Lecture!!!
Okay, so once in a while during lecture I just have that urge to doodle something. This will be my project. I will try to scan all the doodles (mainly character profiles) made in my current political science class and post them (when I come around to it.)

Okay, I'm not offering commissions. I'm obviously not good enough and probably no one would ever want anything done by me anyways. So in any case, thats not what this journal entry is about.
I browse through many artist galleries and I know that many artists offer commission for personal pieces. Never really paid any attention to them, until recently, I thought, oh it would be so cool to have few drawings done as gifts to people for Christmas. Little that I know, many of these artist offering commissions, don't even let you have the actually drawing!!! I mean, they are charging prices up there, and all you get is a HI-RES digital copy???
